October 2006 Contest: Create the Best RPG Motivational Poster and Win a $50 ICE Shopping Spree*!

AND THE WINNERS ARE!!! >>>

Are you familiar with those cheesy "motivational" posters that some corporate offices display, and the spoofs on sites like Despair, Inc.? According to this HUGE thread on RPGnet (at my last count it was up to 831 pages), there are many, many gamers out there who love the spoof posters and that has inspired us to run our fun October Contest: Create the best RPG Motivational Poster and win!

NOTE: The entries are posted in the order they were received with thefirst ones on page 1. Thanks!

SEE THE SUBMISSIONS! -->

Here are Ye Olde Rules:

  1. Create an RPG Motivational poster inspired by any current ICE game/setting including Rolemaster, HARP, Gryphon World, Shadow World, Spacemaster, Cyberspace and Silent Death. Be as creative and silly as you like...we like that around here! We highly encourage all artists to use their own original art, but art from any ICE product or other public domain sources are cool as long as you won't be committing any copyright or other legal infringement.
  2. Email your motivational poster to the ICE Webmistress as a .jpg or .gif file. Make sure it's no bigger than 640 X 640 pixels. Please don't make me resize them...it makes me grumpier than I already am. ;-)
  3. LIMIT of 5 motivational posters per person!
  4. Submission Deadline: All submissions must be received by midnight EST on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 in order to be included in the contest.
  5. We will announce the winner on Tues., Nov 7, 2006. Bruce, Heike, Tim and myself will be the judges and we will notify the winner via email about their $50 ICE shopping spree!

* The shopping spree is for $50 of ICE products that are currently available through the ICE Online Store including all books, GM Screens, miniatures and PDFs, and we pay the shipping! NOTE: Holistic Design, Inc. products are NOT included.

Here are a few examples (created by the lovely and talented ICE Prez, Heike Kubasch) to get your creative juices flowing. These are just examples and are NOT included in the contest:
