Misc SW material
« on: May 11, 2015, 05:31:33 PM »
I thought I would post up a number of our SW support materials we've developed over the last few decades. Attached is a quick reference for healing. Basically the premise is that "off-time" the PC's should be able to pay for healing (in time, money or work) without complicated spell costs, healing times etc. Counter intuitively, general healing may be better or cheaper in more remote places while "advanced" medical procedures are needed in urban areas.

Here is our Professional comparison chart for RM, RMU using the SW ecosystem (which isn't often profession identity friendly)

I posted this over in the RM forum..but basically gives PCs (not just priests) the ability to invoke or ask for "benefience". it helps to get players committed to that aspect of roleplaying plus "prayer" skill becomes a useful "dp sink".

I just posted in another thread about how I liked the HARP cantrips and that they would work well in SW.  :)

The players seem to like them, but the trick is to make them useful, but not too useful! I have a few players that really push the limits on their utility.

sw Master Enounter Tables (non canon)

A few notes:

1. I didn't complete organizations for most of the continents.
2. I kept the biomes relatively simple and don't include temperature zones.
3. There are a few of our own creatures that we use in our campaign--easy to replace with  your own.
4. Does not include a lot of generic creatures found in C&T.
5. In  case it needs be notes, the 1st tab is the "Master" encounter table and the remaining tabs are all of the subcategories. There are a couple of extra (professions and subgroups) for added specificity.

enjoy!

I have a homemade RM character generator Excel spreadsheet with RM2+Shadow world races, professions, spell lists and other stuff.
Is this useful for anyone I gladly attach it.
If this is approved I will edit this post to make an easy explanation of how to use it!

I have sent a PM to someone who has the final say of this type of stuff. Once it has been looked at someone will either approve the file or remove it.
Thanks for you understanding.

I have it in a Google spreadsheet if that helps, then you may download it in ods as well.
