Just as a general update, I am currently working on several projects (yes, all at once; I tend to jump back and forth). As with Eidolon, the second editions will contain a ton of new material (including many new adventures in some) and artwork.

Currently working on:
Jaiman (2nd edition) -- nearing completion. This was last published in 1989!
Emer IV (New)
Haalkitaine (2nd edition)

And then, back to these, already in progress:
NE Jaiman/Wuliris & Lyak  (New)
Emer I (2nd edition)
Emer II (2nd edition)

Then on to a new continent!

Anyone know how to log in to the ICE blog to leave comments? My Forum login/PW don't work and there doesn't seem to be a place in the blog section to actually set up a login/PW.   ???

Artefacts & Lost Tech!  :D

Oh yes... that! I have all the old material in updated WORD files, but it's been on kind of the back burner. A lot of Taranian tech will come out in NE Jaiman, and I've covered a lot of Jinteni tech in Emer III (and in IV). Not sure where to go with Artefacts.  :-\

I don't actually think you can post comments.

I think a lot of it (guessing) is probably material that isn't in Emer III, IV or NE Jaiman (I don't recall seeing Jinteni tech, nor Taranian much, before). I would assume that a lot is what is in the out of print SWMA1 and Emer boxed sets. So there is no way of new people easily getting it.

See screencap. Look at the bottom. Clinking that link takes you to a Wordpress page asking for your login or email and a PW.

Ah, it could be registration to post comments is closed. I certainly don't recall ever seeing any. The blog's admin would probably have to add people who want to comment.

Well, then they should remove the comment option; it's kind of annoying to suggest that you can log in but not offer a way to do it. I wanted to offer some support comments about the hard work done by the GenCon volunteers.

I contacted Nicholas; maybe I should email Colin directly.

Yes, having it look as if you can comment - I have wanted to in the past - yet not be able to can be annoying. I imagine - from personal experience with WP blogs - that this is probably an anti-spam measure, but it would be better if the option was removed.

I think Colin is the one who manages the blog.

Sorry I'm so late to the party on this. I am indeed the one that manages the blog.

Comments were turned off because I was spending 5 minutes a day deleting spam and the number of genuine comments was incredibly small/non-existent.

I hadn't noticed that it still said that you could comment if you signed in. I'll look into how to get rid of that.

Thanks for flagging it and sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the info Colin. I had just wanted to thank all the people involved with GenCon this year for all their hard work. I hope to make it there next year!

Interesting that all of the main Rolemaster Classic books have gone electrum. Shows a lot of ongoing support for the original system we created.

Well, Classic pretty much sums up the reasons why! ;)

I suppose this is an appropriate place to say "Thank You!" to you and the rest of the original team for starting things, as well as to everyone who has kept things going through into the new edition.
Thank you!!!

I noticed that after I mentioned the Rolemaster Classic system books a few days ago, they all jumped to the top of the the RPGNow sales (after the HARP main system book). Coincidence?

Well, in a little selfish move, let me mention that the 2nd edition of Eidolon, City in the Sky is almost at Electrum status. Check it out, read the reviews. Even if you own the 1st edition, this one has tons of new information.

Somewhat off-topic (though there are elements in Shadow World), I just read that the old Space Master 2nd Edition has gone electrum! That's pretty cool. I had fun working on this with Kevin Barrett.

There has been talk about revising it (as if I don't already have enough on my plate).

My new edition of Jaiman is (essentially) done! I've sent in the draft to Nicholas. I'm also eagerly awaiting some final new artwork, and the RMSS stats, then I can wrap it up. Will a PDF be ready to put under the virtual tree for christmas? Maybe!

Now... what to concentrate on next?

I came up with a list, but it was basically everything. With decent reasons for them all as well.

Here's a short list in no particular order (you've seen it before):

• Haalkitaine 2nd Edition
• Emer I 2nd Edition
• Emer II 2nd Edition
• Emer IV (NEW)
• Edit submitted Lethys
• Edit submitted Agyra Book
• Artifacts (may only edit this)

I'm also toying with the idea of writing a 'small' adventure book centered around one shop (or maybe a cluster of shops) in Sel-kai, going into incredible detail about the layout of the place, with wares, secret cubbies, etc., and the profiles of the resident-owners. I think it would be fun.

Is your work with Jaiman making it easier to work with Haalkitaine and Lethys?
I do ofcourse want you to finish that one I wrote some 20 years ago ;)
