Hi there !

Although I read threads often, it is my first time posting on this forum and would like to say the posts and the replies are always helpful !

I began playing rolemaster in the nineties and fell in love with the system. I only played with the RMSS edition. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to play in the last 10 years or so.

I'm currently working on a nice software project that should give me the chance to play again but this will be for another topic

I was curious, what is the percentage of the player base using the RMSS ruleset ?

What edition do you guys prefer ?

I started Rolemaster in the 80's and early 90's. I liked the RMSS system.

However, now I only play online (Fantasy Grounds VTT). So, that means back to RMC. Still better than the alternatives.

I went from RM2 to REC.

There are already polls on the forum about people's preferred version. That may help although probably not as I ran a similar poll over the past 12 months on my blog and got the exact opposite result!

I read a bit about Fantasy Grounds and thinks it is a great tool. Personnally i wanted to make a similar software but more adapted to my needs with AI for monsters and a built-in map editor.

From what i read the player base is quite divided between the various editions. RMU has been in beta for years.

 Any news for when that new edition will be release ?
