Attention Shadow World hive-mind! I was looking for some old reviews of the 1st Edition Eidolon to use for promotion (you know in novels, they often have reviews of the author's previous works...) but all I could find was one from Dragon Magazine (a very nice one actually). Anyone know of others?

There's a brief one on this page: http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/classic/rev_4391.phtml

I nearly wrote one recently, but I knew the revised edition was coming out, so decided to wait.

Good one! We can use that for sure. Any more?  When Eidolon first came out the internet was young, so not much online, sadly.

Finally, mostly recovered from a horrible debilitating stomach ailment, and back on working on Wuliris and Emer II revision. Eidolon is complete except for some new art we are still awaiting. Soon!

Excellent, glad to heare you are feeling better (no more getting sick!). I am really excited for Wuliris because the group I have I want to run through the old TSR module, S3 Expedition to the Barrier Peaks (in RM* rules, not sure if I am going to stick with RMFRP or go with RMC for its less complicated skill structure) and really want to see what you do with the high-tech stuff up there and probably merge the two sources. For the art, I hope you guys were able to get that Jesper Ejsing fellow who did some of the stuff in RMC, he is really good, particularly his B&W stuff.

*The other GM (we trade off every 6-9 weeks, or so) is currently running D&D 5E, which is fine, but some of the basics are still getting to me and I can see that I will not be able to run that system for a long time.

On a somewhat personal note, there have been some positive changes in my situation (aside from my still-in-progress plans to move back to the home of ICE, Charlottesville, in the next few months). A little stability is a good thing.

Because of this, in addition to the already mentioned SW projects, I hope to resume writing on my Loremaster novel series (for my own amusement if nothing else), and I need to check in on the Space Master revision situation...

Emer III Reviews (from RPGNow)

…This isn’t your standard sourcebook; it sets quite an amazing benchmark. Let’s start at the beginning with the region’s history. Author Terry Kevin Amthor chose not to simply provide the readers with the basic historical look at the region. Instead, he got down to the absolute nitty-gritty, bringing you all the way back to the very first intelligent roots that arose in the region.

From here, the book moves into an extremely detailed look at the region’s climate, geography, flora, fauna, and inhabitants. Funny enough, I could have sworn this section was written by a climatologist and geographer, or a general scholar of those items. I was floored by the amount of information, but better yet, how plausible, believable, and realistic it seemed.

(5 stars)   --Aaron H.

… what really sets Terry Amthor's books apart is the fact that they are so much fun to read. They don't read like a dry sourcebook at all. The texts are so full of details, history and background, you just can't put it away until you've read it all through.

All in all, the setting of Emer III is quite exotic and even a bit unusual for RPG adventures. This is not your usual run of the mill fantasy sourcebook. The exciting jungles and rainforests described here made me want to stop my currently running campaign and start an explorer-type campaign right away.

(5 stars)   -- Thomas S.

Get your copy of the Emer III sourcebook! Available as a bookmarked PDF, Perfect-bound or Casebook (hardbound).

I've read, or re-read, a lot of supplements recently, and it's true, many are not that enjoyable to read.

No really, I mean it! Eidolon October 1st!   :o

Meanwhile, in personal news, I am moving from DC-adjacent Arlington back to my college town and the founding place of ICE, Charlottesville VA in a month or so. So there will be some down-time. But I am working hard on NE Jaiman!

Any idea what is most likely (currently; I know that can change if inspiration strikes in a different direction) to be the next supplement available after Eidolon?
