Terry--what a blast from the past! I recall that song playing continuously on the radio when I was reading my copy of Character Law (blue cover) back in the early 80's. I was calling the Festival the "Motley Festival" for a while--that video certainly encapsulates that!

I commented elsewhere that it was the architectural equivalent of a giant flashing neon sign reading "DARK LORD LIVES HERE." It looks like Vader used the same designer as Sauron.

At first glance it made me think or Orthanc in Isengard. But it would also be right at home in the Shadow World, as perhaps a Priest Arnak tower, or the home of one of the Ahrenreth.

I was using 1/4 PP but now we don't bother tracking it unless the player is continual casting, abusing it or has no PP's left. They make a roll but only for natural "01" failure and I modify failure roll by -50.
