Some almost "lost" artwork and Happy Holidays!
« on: December 30, 2015, 07:48:35 AM »
Recently I dug into some old rpg stuff that have been nearly forgotten, and it was a bit moving finding some art, old characters and layouts that I had made about 15 years ago. I suppose that a lot of people here at the forum may have had the same experience. Also I thought of sharing a piece of this art. It is a small caravel-like ship, with a hippocampus at the front and its tail at the back of the ship, that the PCs (dwarf and elf) planned to use for travelling. These were the days when I had just read the lord of the rings and had started playing MERP, with many ideas and much excitement! Happy Holidays!

Nice drawing...
Also, yes, just a few weeks back I was getting out the Christmas decorations from the attic and stumbled across a storage bin of old "spellbooks" that I had used with my gaming about 25 years ago - so I know the feeling.  Joyful, but also a bit melancholy.
Thanks for sharing....

More stuff that was found, reminiscent I think of some artwork in MERP's modules! It's Earendil's escape and the last stand of Glorfindel to protect him against the Balrog. Hope you enjoy it!
