The Observatory of Gleen (Xa-Ar pg.28)
« on: January 27, 2016, 02:29:12 AM »
Anyone got any ideas about this place? Just curious due to the notation made by Mr. Amthor about a future publication covering this place. My group is rather unexpectedly headed there. Is the place described in one of the Guild Companion published adventures? Also if anyone's got any cool ideas I'd like to hear them.

Unless there's official word this is what I'm doing.

A. Using Gryphon College's observatory as the basis for the Observatory's floor plan.

B. Various guardian constructs & insidious (Tomb of UR style) traps

C. A long range telescope that acts as a conduit to amplify the   power & range of Astrologer spells. Also the ability to predict Essaence Storms?

D. Perhaps a lost Astrologer spell list? or some ancient prophecies including some about the coming assault on the Eyes? (It's Winter 30th 5051 in my campaign)

I thought this might have been covered in the old module Quellbourne, Land of the Silver Mist, but alas, it is not. It is not in any of The Guild Adventurers either. The long overdue TGA#4 will feature Eyes of Stone, an adventure set in Emer.

Perhaps Mr. Amthor can chime in with his intentions on this?
