Mechanic for ice or sand blast?

I'm trying to make a spell that's basically a bolt or spray of ice particles, like a sand blasting bolt. None of the existing spells or crit tables, as far as I'm finding, look ideal, and I'm thinking the closest one is the acid crit table from RC III. I'm wondering whether anyone has made something similar, and if so, what they did. (Hey, even if you didn't, and have ideas, I'm open.)

One of the later companions has a Steam Crit Table and a Shrapnel table.  Sand and ice could easily be shrapnel.  The crits for a steam blast could be slightly re-worded for sand/ice and you could add an additional Impact crit or Unbalancing crit from the force of the impact.

Doesn't Spacemaster have and autofire/burst critical table. That could be good for a blast of icicles.

Shrapnel would probably work really well. With either shrapnel or acid, I may add a Cold crit to the ice-spray blast. Thanks - I'll check the Companions for that.

I've searched my companions and haven't found either of these tables. If anyone knows where the Shrapnel crit table was, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to go with Acid, modifying as appropriates.

Shrapnel Table is in Space Law, specifically Tech Law section 5.85.

Tearing/Ripping criticals in RM2 Arms Companion...way tonnes of bleeding damage from rug burn!
