New to MERP

Hi. my question is this i recently found MERP  and i think it could be great for online play via a platform like ROLL20 . im wanting to know as a Game master which version of Rolemaster is most compatible with MERP .?

MERP was basically a Lite Version of RM1/RM2

So it would most closely compatible with RM2 or RMC.

Depends on what you mean by "work".

IF you just want to use the setting and instead of the RMSS rules and creature stats... then yes it will work...

If you mean you want to use the MERP rules and add Professions and such from RMSS, Then, Not exactly easily.
RMSS uses a different Character and Skill development. Plus I believe there are a couple stats excluded from MERP that exist in RM2 and RMSS.

If you are talking about just using Attack tables and Skill resolution Tables, you will likely be just fine.

Yes, that works just as well as with RM2.

Cool i have RM 2 was hoping once i level out of MERP it can go into RM SS . plus it will be easyer transition for the group
