I am dusting off my HARP books and getting ready to actually start up a game at last. I was going over the rules since it has been awhile and seem to remember that the spells Minor Healing and Major Healing somehow also cured stuns as well. But I can't seem to find it anywhere in the books. I was wondering if maybe I am remembering wrong and it was just a house rule we used? If I am wrong, then the only way to be rid of x number of rounds of stun are either make your RR or pop an herb.
Any thoughts?

They do not cure stun. I am likely to introduce some form of stun recovery spell in the revised Something Wicked.

Thanks for the response Nicholas. Looking forward to Something Wicked. :)

It would be really difficult for a spell that focuses on stun relief to be effective. In the games that I have run most people get stunned in the middle of combat and it usually only lasts so long. I believe the group has even had some stun relief herbs but there were never used as far as I know. A stun relief spell would be most useful if it had a ranged effect and it was an instant spell. An additional bonus would be a scaling option to make it an area of effect spell, in fact the healing spells need an area of effect scaling option!

Role Master Spell Law had low level instantaneous stun relief spells, should be doable in HARP as well I would think.

I can see several ways of doing spells to handle stun in HARP - and will have at least one spell in this area in Something Wicked.

Nicholas,
I know you probably get tired of being asked, but any idea when Something Wicked will be released? Or the monsters book? :)

I am trying to shuttle between revising Something Wicked and doing edits on Bestiary chapters. No date yet, but Bestiary should complete manuscript ahead of Something Wicked, Something Wondrous.
Best wishes,
Nicholas
