Randae and Vurkanan Tyes!
If it's a tournament, it would be fun to have Vurkanan's assistant in an opposing party.
Or you could make something like a competition of Navigators vs Loremasters, maybe a marathon using Teleport from one continent to another? Or one navigator from each guild, I imagine the Cypharia has the perfect breed for each challenge.

So "tournament module" I meant like the original AD&d tourney series-not a death match style event.  So a defined narrative path, pre-gen characters etc, basically like the Grand Campaign but playable in one sitting.

In the past I used to be more active, I translated  several things to Spanish and created some house rules and background. But lack of time and (almost) no feedback made me lazy.

Also I miss ready-to-run adventures that I can use, because this lack of time.

In the last 2 years I have been fleshing the Khur Fiefdoms in Thuul, using adventures from... let's say RoadDiscoverer, and adapting to how it feels to live in a backward province of Vashaan.

How far from RAW is your game? If there were ready to run adventures with NPCs created from core rules would they be a challenge for your players? What sort of level adventures are you looking for?

My game is not really far from the TKA canon, as I'm a huge fan of his works.

The only difference IMKU is that the time span is different, for some reason I am never able to buy several eras of >5000 years that people can remember and talk about it, in my game the second era is "the past" and it could be a past of 1000 years ago.

Regarding adventures, I usually read adventures and use what I like, sometimes just maps and some NPC's. My problem is that after 12 years playing in Jaiman and Emer, the players needed something different, because they know a lot about these areas (Iron Wind, Lorgalis, Eidolon powers, the JA)

I do not use too many house rules, I'm stuck in RM2 with a few variations and we feel comfortable that way, we use fate points to avoid undramatic deaths and some fixes to spells.

Every week I release a free plot outline. This week's one is called Alchemical Zombies (http://www.rpgnow.com/product/213217/Alchemical-Zombies-Theatre-Of-The-Mind-Encounters?src=ironcrown_forum).

I make these system neutral and setting neutral to avoid any IP issues. You should be able to drop these into your game if you want a quick and easy game idea.

Thanks, but I do not really need game ideas, what I miss from ICE are adventures completely structured that I can use in my game, otherwise I can use some ideas, NPC's or maps. For example, Gethaena does not fit in my game, but I have used a lot of things from that book or from some MERP books.

I'd like things similar to ready-to-run adventures from MERP that focus on Emer and Jaiman known areas. Something like Tales from the Green Gryphon Inn is perfect.

« Reply #230 on: June 07, 2017, 02:53:51 PM »
I'm pondering having another group(s) play test my "Legends of Shadow World" adventure series we are working on over at the Rolemasterblog.com. This is a 5 chapter, tournament module, for 50th lvl characters.

Thanks all for emailing me, I have 2 groups that are going to run Chapter 1, but looking for 1 or 2 more. Heading to Iceland monday but will have module packets for the groups at the end of the month. I'll have access to email, so if you want to run a 50th lvl Shadow World adventure let me know.

Ok, quick update. I have my first two groups running the 1st chapter of the Legends adventures. I'm running my group next Tuesday  (delay due to travel).

Peter at Rolemasterblog and I have finalized our "50 Adventures in 50 weeks" challenge! All are written and we are refining with artwork. These are generic (for IP limitations) but easily incorporated into a d100 system.

And...finally...BASiL Mentalism will start being posted up tomorrow or this week. (nice weather here in Maine...)

I don't have my copy handy, but isn't he in Powers of Light and Darkness?

Thanks,

I posted up the intro for "Legends of Shadow World" over at Rolemasterblog.

http://www.rolemasterblog.com/legends-shadow-world-player-introduction/

I have two test groups working on Chapters 2 & 3 and I'm running Chapter 5 for my group this coming week. Once I tweak some items we'll be posting it up and working on some other high level adventures which are now pretty fun to write.
