How do you address armor coverage, cost, weight, etc. for centaur type characters?

There's definitely going to be more armor as Centaurs have more body parts, so I'd say at least double the weight of a full suit. You also have to consider things like "can a centaur even armor his/her legs?" and other morphology questions.

I would start with the armour for a horse and than add torso, and right/left arm. That appears logical to me.

Starting with horse armour and adding extra bits makes sense to me too.

Best wishes,

Cool, this makes sense to me as well, but where can I find the rules for horse armor? I looked in HARP, Hack & Slash, and Martial Law, but I can't find them.

I have looked too and cannot  find anything  publisheed.  I would suggest that you use x1.5 value of base armor  for horse barding and then add the extras for the humanoid portions of the centaur.

Best wishes,
Nicholas
