Errata - Weapons Law: Firearms
« on: January 06, 2008, 05:50:16 PM »
Has anyone got the errata for the above publication?

There are quite a few errors on the crit tables and I don't believe this publication has been reprinted.

I'm not aware of any errata for that book.  Sorry.

Can you share the errors you have found?

Not at home at the moment. But will dig it out ASAP.

Did point them out to the ICE Staff eons ago, but the corrections have not been forthcoming.

Thanks,
I am possibly going to be using WL:F in my next campain so any info would be great. I have used it in the past and I did not notice any problems but we generally stuck to 4-8 weapon sheets instead of using everyone.

It concerns crit tables 6.6 & 6.7.

Most of the descriptions are the same as well as many similarities in the critical effects when both tables are compared.

Eg:

Puncture - 151-175 - Descriptions the same some variation in effects

Hollowpoint - 151-175 - Descriptions the same some variation in effects

Amour Piercing - 01 - 251+ - Descriptions almost identical & you can come of worse if you're Super Large. eg - 67-90, 201-250

Impact - 11-251+ - ditto Amour Piercing eg. 66.

Shrapnel - 06-251+ - ditto Armour Piercing eg 66. Also, +325H on 176-200 must be a typo.

When compared to the Large & Super Large Crit tables in Arms Law it seems that table 6.7 probably needs a redraft.

aarc has sent me the list in PM as well, and I will be looking into it as soon as I can find the time to do so properly.

From what aarc has told me, he sent this stuff in right after the new ICE formed, so chances are it went to one of several people who no longer work for ICE (this being before I started working for ICE).
