With 'Tales from the Green Gryphon Inn' finally done and out the door (well, I do have the town map to do, but Dr. Caldwell can simultaneously do his edit pass and arrange from the RMSS/RMFRP conversions while I wrap that up), I find myself as usual, at loose creative ends. Right now, I am going to try to focus on the Emer II revision, with all of the following in my personal Oort cloud of creativity* with no particular priority:

Wuliris (now up to 60 pages of pure text)
Editing 2 submission modules
Artifacts (starting to pull in old text for editing, already 30 pages)
Emer I
Eidolon
Haalkitaine

(Whew!)

*Meaning that they drift into my sphere of interest, I work on them, and they fly back out again...

Possibly some of the grunt work for Artefacts could be outsourced, if you state any sources you'd like text scanned from, for example.

Thanks, but amazingly enough, I preserved my old digital files for the original 'Atlas Addendum' over the years. The old Word files were so ancient that the new Word refuses to open them, but they will open in my Mac TextEdit, which is good enough.

Time to convert those old files to a newer format, or print them to a PDF file.

If there is interest, maybe they could be created (but not by me, except in broad strokes). We do have an eclectic adventuring group, which can be seen in illustrations in the Emer III module, which Matt and I (if I recall) did some backgrounds on so we would have an ongoing adventure group in the spirit of the old RM book covers.

There are a few adventurers in a group together that'll be running through the SW line as more books come out (and you'll have already seen some of them already).

Matt was going to create them as example characters when the RMU books were released (as these adventurers were going to be used in illustrations in those books as well). But to have them multi-stated for all RM versions in the SW book would also be great! :)

Cool. If there's any need for descriptions/background/crunch to go with them, let us know!

Can't wait for Tales from the Green Gryphon Inn! When will it be available?

I would estimate a couple months. It is already roughly laid out, but it awaits RMSS/RMFRP stats, and artwork, and the editing cycle. I'm working on the cover now.

That's actually quicker than I would have expected.

Well, editing from Dr Caldwell is normally pretty quick, and our usual converter does a good job so I only need to drop in the stats, and Craig only needs to do a few illustrations for this since it is an adventure. Then I guess I better finish that town map!

Gryphonburgh is proceeding apace, so we might actually see it in September/October!

Meanwhile I am typing away on the NE Jaiman book, in between work on Emer II.

i don't remember well (no emer III near me) but i think the brother stats are in the book.
i think the daughter is really interesting for my campaign. ;)

Hi, no I did not do stats for either child. At some point I had to draw the line over what NPCs should have stats in the book, and who is peripheral. The daughter is interesting because of her suspicions, and you should feel free to extrapolate her stats, and maybe share them here.

Just watched a show about Vikings on the History Channel. Now inspired to work on Wuliris. I'm sure there is no direct connection (besides the climate of N Jaiman being very much like Scandinavia...)

Yeah, Vikings is a nice show. It's great at giving a flavor of life in Scandinavia a millennia ago.

Terry,
What did you think of last nights The Quest on ABC?

The RMSS/RMFRP stats for Gryphonburgh are already in! (This makes me feel not so bad about all the new NPCs that I have written up for Emer II and Eidolon Second Editions!) So I am off to format (and finish the town layout; all my other layouts re done). Meanwhile Nicholas is editing, and Craig is working on illustrations.

Nose to the grindstone (ouch!). Lots done on Wuliris last few days, all the RMSS stat layout work done on Gryphonburgh. Feeling intimidated by Emer II (the thing has had a complete overhaul), and now working on Eidolon Adventures and NPC stats. Eidolon is actually closer to completion, both in content and graphics...

By the Lords Kieron and Jaysek! So many NPCs in Eidolon, and the RMSS converter guy added skills when he did the initial conversion, so now I feel like I have to go back in and add skills for the RM2/RM Classic version, plus I added a bunch of new NPCs for the adventures, and some 'prominent people' in various levels of society that the PCs might actually encounter. So it's a blur of assigning skill levels for me for the next few days, with some breaks for Wuliris (love that Taranian tech, and just how nasty are the Frost Elves? Nasty. Like Dyar with a bad attitude...)
