Really pleased at how Emer I revision is progressing. I'm actually cutting a bunch of relatively irrelevant stuff out of the timeline (mostly internal Jaiman events that have no bearing on Hæstra) as I add in new details. Emer I was my first book published as Eidolon Studio back in 1997 (wow, it will have been 20 years by the time it is released again! Time flies!), so I was eager to put in a lot of material.

Yup! And the hardcopy versions are sent to the printer as well. Meanwhile I am buzzing along on Emer I, and also re-opened Haalkitaine... that one is actually closer to being ready to go; I just need to do adventures (which are always labor-intensive for me  ). I am also doing the layout for another HARP book, Folkways.

Need more caffeine!

Get your copy of the adventure book Tales From the Green Gryhon Inn (designed for lower-level characters) now and get your PCs started, so they will be ready to head to the capital of Rhakhaan, Haalkitaine, when the new edition of that book is released near the end of this year!

I know I ask this periodically, but I thought I'd ask again, since I seem to be in a manic writing mode: What would you most like to see as the next few SW books?

Excluding those already in progress, I think Artefacts and Lost Tech. Areas of Jaiman that haven't been covered. The HQ of the Loremasters. Perhaps something on the Alliance or the Raven Queen.

Aside from Wuliris, which is already in your hands, I want more on the Alliance. Also some revamping of Quellbourne, if it is not covered in Wuliris. Some material on Urulan could be a nice addition.

I would like the next part of the Loremaster Legacy novel. It is a great tool to get a real feeling of an adventure in Shadow World as it unfolds.

I'm glad to hear of some enthusiasm about the novel sequel, but sales were not up to my hopes :-(    I have it partly written...

On another topic, I hope that everyone else in the US will vote today! I was up at 6 am and voted. Now will see how that turns out. I'll respond to your other replies when I recover...

I get the impression that ebook success requires more than just writing a good book. It seems to need marketing as well. Just don't ask me what  Perhaps reviews on book blogs, maybe promotions. Perhaps it needs listing on RPGNow and DriveThruRPG as well; I know they require fiction to be connected to gaming or something, but it is to a degree. Or maybe an audio book (although that is likely expensive).

Having thought about it, here's something I might try - make a free sample of the first few chapters and add that to DriveThruFiction (and Smashwords if it's on there). If I had two or more books, I might make the first pay what you want or free. There are quite a few series I've purchased following reading a free sample.

I'm currently wallowing in a deep depression. The United States is apparently run by orange-faced racists and misogynists. It is going to take me a little while to recover. Or, anyone want to take me in? ;-)
