As for SW material, I would love to see either a thorough treatment of the Alliance (we know relatively little about their current empire) or (as B Hansen mentioned) a book on Gaalt detailing the conflict between the Raven Queen and her opposition.

Iceland or Costa Rica are the places to be.

0% risk of terrorism, neither place has any armed forces which in turn means that a far greater proportion of their taxation is spent on education and health care. Happy, healthy and well educated people are more productive so you end up in a virtuous circle. They also happen to be two of the most dramatic and beautiful places in the world.

They also have higher life expectancy than Kulthea I suspect, especially if you are a PC.

I think Costa Rica has less volcanoes than Iceland. I don't like volcanoes.

I wasn't actually sure on Costa Rica's volcano population, given its location. Extinct ones are okay; active ones not so much.

Cool volcanoes I don't mind (I've seen some in the Canaries). It's the hot ones I don't like!

I would, only I live in a Red state, so... Is it just me, or is this like the end of the Omen series where Damian makes it to the White House?

Back on topic: I would also really like to get more detail about the war machines.

I just read that Newt Gingrich wants to open new committees on 'Anti-American activities' just like the McCarthy commie scare of the 50's.

Back on topic, I think the Worim war machines would go well in 'Artifacts & Lost Tech' which I have been tinkering with a fair amount in recent years, but I's almost rather hand it over to another editor/writer, and I would just supervise, as I have so much on my plate.
