I've gotten my second (4th?) wind on Haalkitaine and hope to have a draft completed in the next few weeks. Looks like there will be about 40 pages of new material including timeline updates, catacombs with lots of tombs, the sewers (Layouts of both) and adventures. The city map will be included of course in various scales like the Sel-kai map was handled. Craig is working away on new illustrations.
After that I'll probably work on Emer IV writing (it is already well along) while mucking through the Emer I and II revisions. (Whew!)

That sounds fantastic. I can't wait. (Well, I can, it's gonna suck, but there you go. *insert silly google-eyed emoji here*)

Hah I wish this site had a way where you could just 'like' a post as in FB.

There are somethings this site has that I wish RPG.NET had, and vice-versa. (Though that is when I can get those parts on this site working, which I can't since I got Windows 10. Man I hate Windows 10, but just cannot afford to switch to mac.... *sad-faced emoji*)

Hi, RandalThor,
Having problems with the website with Windows 10? I've been using Windows 10 since it was released and haven't noted any issues with Websites. I don't use the Edge browser, however - I use Firefox. Like Chrome it's free and full-featured.
Come to think about it, Internet Explorer rarely got used at home either on XP or Windows 7... ;D

All the Best,
Kevin.

I am sick of having to have multiple browsers and crap! I really don't want to have to use one browser for these sites, another for those, and yet still another for these other sites over there. It is ridiculous!

You are aware that you still have access to Internet Explorer on Windows 8/10? Use Cortana (can't remember the search short-cut off-hand) and start to type 'internet'. Top result will be Internet Explorer - it's currently version 11.

Unfortunately, MS have shot themselves in the foot, with the Edge browser: it's great for Mobile devices - as it uses the Universal API that they are trying to push to scales across devices.

But, on a desktop - hell even on a Windows tablet - people still want a full featured browser. Not some cut down, multi-device friendly version, like the complete piece of pants that Edge is.

And, even IE doesn't have the feature set other browsers do - and is falling further and further behind.

This is why if you look at the statistics, IE and Edge are almost unused - the biggest browser is Chrome with 52% of the market (because it's Android's browser) followed by Safari 14% (Apple). This is obviously, because most people now regularly use mobile devices to access the internet.

Edge and Internet Explorer come in at 1.7% and 4.7%, and Firefox is 6.7%

Hey, don't knock Internet Explorer. It is and always has been the best browser to download Firefox. ;)

In addition to adventures, Sewers and Catacombs/tombs in Haalkitaine, I am updating the timeline several years and cleaning up many entries. I am proofing the entire thing first, and I must say it is a bit daunting… and I wrote the damn thing!  :P

I find it's harder to proof your own stuff - you tend to read what you know it's supposed to say, not necessarily what it actually does.

Exactly. I am also pulling in relevant material from Cloudlords... adding new intrigues after the war with the Pretender...

Whew, I have been in HARP-land a lot the last few weeks. Doing the layout for Folkways (which is a rather cool book, and even has two Shadow World cultures in it), and doing a bunch of errata fixes for the main HARP rulesbook. I just finished the files for the PDF and print versions and sent them to Nicholas.

Back to Haalkitaine full speed ahead!

Looking forward to the new material  :)

My main SW campaign is still going strong with 4 x players, all between 5th and 6th lvl, they have just returned to Norek after completing a paladin's quest in Aranmor...lots of death and they stayed clear of Tarek Nev too.

They are now headed overland to Tanara from Ulyshak.  We have been playing this campaign for over a year once per week.

Harp Folkways is now available!

There is a lot of interesting system-neutral information, and a section detailing 2 Shadow world cultures.

Terry, I think there are still things you've written that are missing from your Wikipedia page. Probably because you've used different names.

TKA, can you tell me which two SW cultures are in it?

thanks

It says the Vasai Republic (Lydians and Ochu). There are around six pages in this section.
