At this stage, I am trying the level of potential interest in a Rolemaster campaign set in mythical, Arthurian britain.
The setting would be largely adapted from Greg Stafford's Pendragon, though it may actually occur before Arthur.
Conceptually, the campaign would be restricted largely to humans (with elves, dwarves, and other fey creatures a possibility). However, each human culture (Cymri, Picts, Romans, etc) would have specific cultural characteristics, bonuses, etc.
Magic would also be restricted as it would be reserved for those both talented and trained in ancient, druidic ways. As a consequence, however, it would be fairly powerful.
Mechanically, I haven't decided on PbP, email, or virtual table top using something like Fantasy Grounds II. I am interested in input on this point (and just about all other points).
If there is any interest, please say so. Please feel free to ask a lot of questions. Like I said, I am trying to determine an interest level.
Once I have an idea of interested players, I can better project a starting (launch date). Right now, I am thinking the beginning of November, 2009.
