Well, I was thinking of having some of the adventures be more just ideas or outlines; I already have some others fleshed out. Most of it will be background, organizations, locality descriptions and area maps...
This is how sourcebook adventures should be IMO. Not "first A happens, then B happens" but as you say, ideas or outlines.
The sourcebook info on the land, history, people, politics, maps, underworld, etc
- these and other things should be the base material with which the GM and players can build their own adventures ad infinitum.
Then the book could have guidelines for different styles of adventures, for example
- If you want a classic dungeon style adventure, here are some possibilities...
- If you want intrigue and mystery, your options are most plenty in...
- If you want a large scale military campaign, this is what you could have happen...
...and so on. That is how I would prefer it.
