Some first impressions:
the overall design is fine, some nice handout, nice pictures, well done.
Reading through the content tabel really made me curious-fantastic, at the end information about the Iron Wind, Ulor,... a lot of stuff I was waiting a long time for.
I first concentrated on the chapter "Setting". And at the moment, without having read the adventur section, I?ve really mixed feelings about the book. Basically there some really nice new ideas, new forces and stories generated.
On the other hand there is again an attitude not to deal at all with details and if so game statistics are more concentrated on than backround information. For example section 5.3. "Forces of Ulor". App 1 and a half pages, the introduction of a new "Lady of Ulor" and some new Strike Team. Lenghty describtions of fighting styles. But nothing at all about details of Ulor.
It gives the expression that to add something new (with really, really good ideas) renders the further detail work on the older ideas unnecessary. Now I?m looking forward for the adventure section.
