A. Rolemaster Classic (RMC for short) is a revitalized version of the revered Rolemaster 2 system
found in the hallowed “red
border edition” of Rolemaster in the late 80’s.
Rolemaster pioneered
many of today’s gaming concepts and
still sets the platinum standard for fantasy RPG systems.
ICE has taken this great
system and re-organized it for clean and easy use. A more polished
appearance and new artwork give the books a more open and modern look
that's pleasing
to the eye.
A great system, well organized, and pretty…what more could you
ask for in a roleplaying game?
Q. Why should I play Rolemaster Classic?
A. Simply put: No limits, no 3
HP Kobolds and no throw-away characters! We know you dream about
running great games, and about running great characters. Rolemaster
Classic and RMC:
Character Law were created by gamers with the same
dream. We wanted to be able to create characters with the potential
to make our favorite fantasy heroes pale in comparison. We wanted to run
in games that made the greatest fantasy epics seem dull.
RMC can make those dreams a reality. It has it all: rich, dynamic
character creation, heart stopping combat, spells that would make Merlin
jealous,
and monsters with real bite.
RMC is a flexible, multi-part RPG
designed to be used on its own or with other RPG systems. Add excitement
to your current game, or start an epic
RMC game of your own with these RMC titles:
- RMC
Character Law (ST#6501): Great games begin
with great characters. With 22 professions,
dozens
of skills to choose from, and an interesting racial mix, Character
Law will get your fledgling hero off to a great start.
Your race won’t
dictate your profession or alignment, and all skills are available
to all professions. So go ahead, create that character you’ve
always dreamed about.
- RMC Arms Law (February 2007): Arms
Law is an FRPG combat system that leaves
you shaking
and
bragging
to your
friends about your character’s exploits. If you prefer
safe, ho hum, by-the-numbers RPG combat, then Arms Law is
not for you. If you are
looking for a combat system with criticals and fumbles to add
an new edge to your gaming, then check out Arms Law.
- RMC Spell Law:
(April 2007): Spell
Lists for 15 magic using professions, that give new meaning
to the
word magic.
Thousands of spells, plus spell critical and fumbles. From,
subtle, to sophisticated magic, to raw power, Spell
Law has it all.
- RMC Creatures and Treasures (June
2007): No
RPG is complete without monsters. Extraordinary characters require
extraordinary challenges, and you’ll
find plenty of worthy opponents for your players in Creatures
& Treasures.
And there’s
the loot, which is sure to bring a smile to your player’s
faces.
